Odyssey Co-locates with PrintSynergy™ Print & Marketing Expo in 2009

July 14, 2008

The International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) and the Foil Stamping and Embossing Association (FSEA) join forces with The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) to announce the co-location of two exciting events: 2009 IADD·FSEA Odyssey & PrintSynergy 09. These two industry-specific events are designed to deliver the value and tangible benefits that their attendees demand from their tradeshow experience.

All attendees, whether their interest lies in diecutting, diemaking, foil stamping/embossing, or bindery services, will have the cross-opportunities to explore the latest technologies, discover answers to operational challenges, and learn valuable business strategies for market expansion and diversity. Individuals interested in variable data print, cross media marketing, wide format, mailing & fulfillment, label printing, and package printing will have the added benefit of PrintSynergy, a very targeted event taking place in the same location a few days later and overlapping on Friday.

Odyssey attendees are encouraged to stay an extra day or two and will be granted complimentary admission to the PrintSynergy expo floor with their Odyssey badge. Similarly, PrintSynergy attendees interested in Odyssey niches are encouraged to come a few days early to visit the Odyssey expo floor free of charge with their PrintSynergy badge.

Scheduled to take place at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, the 2009 IADD·FSEA Odyssey (May 6-8, 2009) & PrintSynergy (May 7-9, 2009) will each house an exhibit hall with machinery in operation, a series of educational sessions, and real networking opportunities – all in one centralized, convenient location. Additionally, the IADD·FSEA Odyssey will feature the ever-popular Techshop™ 09 – a fully operational technical forum where on-press workshops and live job demonstrations will offer solutions to tough production challenges.

“Co-location with PrintSynergy greatly enhances Odyssey’s value to both attendees and exhibitors,” states IADD CEO Cindy Crouse. “The expansion of targeted information, education, networking, and buying – consolidated into one energy-packed location – saves time and money, while affording an explosion of industry goods and services all under one roof.” PIAG President Rachel Ann Shattah agrees, saying, “PrintSynergy is all about bringing printers, marketing executives and creatives together. To be able to add to their experience by partnering with 2009 IADD·FSEA Odyssey is the icing on the cake.”
